I think I'm going to try to make an info page about this instead of just answering it all here, but the short of it is that fae magic is very intent and focus based more than it is about any kind of ritual gestures, most of the time. It's a natural part of their functioning, and not necessarily they need to invoke.

It's more like learning to dance or sing than it's about memorizing incantations.
