HIATUS↴ First of all, fill out this handy form and post it below with "HIATUS" in the subject line. <b>Player Name:</b> <b>Character Names:</b> <b>Beginning of Hiatus:</b> <b>End of Hiatus:</b> <b>Vetoed AC Period:</b> As of January 2018 AC, we require players to leave a comment on their Activity Check post to indicate they are are on hiatus! A hiatus vetoes the need to submit actual activity proofs; it does not veto the need to check in. This is primarily to prevent idling. THE RULES: ► You can hiatus for up to a month at a time. Any longer than that requires speaking to the mods and working out something on a case-to-case basis. ► There are two options for how this affects AC: 1) you can completely veto one month's AC. 2) you can half the requirements for two concurrent months of AC. Please indicate which option you are taking. ► You cannot do this multiple months in a row. The mods reserve the right to bar you from hiatusing too frequently. ► It is always your responsibility to come back and let us know if you need more time. The mods will not hunt you down to find out what's going on. This discludes situations where your internet access has been disabled long term. ► Only hiatuses posted to this page are valid. If you don't, you won't be allowed back in with your old character or any future characters for the following three months.

Under the hiatus section there's a bit that says:

Does this mean I can take half-AC for December and January, or am I reading something incorrectly? I'm worried about the school workload for January, and I'd like to be prepared for that in case it happens without idling out.

That is correct! You can choose to only submit half-AC (one thread with at least 5 comments from you) for both December and January, or choose to completely veto AC requirements for one month. You wouldn't be able to claim bonus activity points with either option (though you can choose to end hiatus early and just submit normal AC if you wish).

Hey, I apologise for replying to this again, but I wasn't sure where else to bring it up out of shyness. I know I put my hiatus end as January 7th, but since I said I'd do half-AC for December and January both, I just wanted to clarify that I'd like my hiatus to end early and not cover January!
